The Bhukkad Cafe was launched in Dubai in early 2018 & upon launch, changed the face of the Indian Street Food landscape in the UAE. Being the first to market with its unique concept of food, decor & nostalgia, The Bhukkad Cafe quickly found itself amidst media attention, getting covered by tabloids, radio channels, food bloggers & major influencers in the city.
The Bhukkad Cafe screams of nostalgia on every page of the menu, where each dish has a special significance & has been inspired from busy streets of India. The walls are framed with nostalgic wall art, the upholstery on the seating is printed with elements of India.
The Bhukkad Cafe menu was drawn after over a year of research, scouting small towns & cities, tasting local cuisines & finding out what most people eat on the streets of India on a daily basis. The menu represents Mumbai with Chowpatty Wali Pav Bhaji & Mithibai Grilled Sandwich, amongst other unique creations. The menu represents the Iranian community of India with Bun Maska & Chai and Keema Pav.
The menu is curated with Chau Mean & Kolkata Chilli Chicken – staple street dishes of Kolkata. The menu also includes Chandni Chowk Tikki Chaat & Fateh ki Kachori – bringing nostalgia from thousands of miles away right to your plate. The food is the most important part of The Bhukkad Legacy – Using fresh ingredients with no preservatives, using recipes passed down by great-grandmothers & styling the very old world classic dishes in the most quirkiest, modern way is The Bhukkad USP.
All dishes are served all day long, and are designed in a way that they can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
